Worrisome/Anxious
Piper is a worry-wart to the extreme. She’s constantly on edge and always asking what might happen or thinking of the consequences. If something could go wrong, she’ll know it and you can bet that she’ll make sure you know it too.

Skittish/Timid
Piper is terribly frightened of a lot of things. Sometimes she gets spooked even at the smallest of things, and will scream, jump, or run and hide if she gets scared enough. She’s very restless and is constantly looking over her shoulder to make sure no one is trying to sneak up on her.

Soft-spoken/Reserved
When Piper does speak, she has a soft voice and apologizes quite a lot. She tends to keep her opinions to herself unless she’s asked, or unless she feels that it’s absolutely necessary to speak.  She feels like her opinion isn’t needed more often than not.

Amiable/Gentle
To match her voice, Piper is as sweet as a butterfly. When given the chance, she’s quite friendly and very kind. She’s a true friend to the end and would never intentionally do anything to hurt or offend the ones she cares about.

Tolerant/Forgiving
Even if someone were to sneak up and scare Piper, she’d forgive them without a doubt– right after she was done screaming or hiding –whether they deserve it or not. She’s not one to hold grudges and will almost never fight back when being picked on. Usually she either ignores or laughs along.

Brave/Spirited
Every once and a while, another side of Piper will come out. She never stands for seeing others being harassed– though she doesn’t mind it when it’s her –and she will always stand her ground with bullies or those who are trying to hurt her loved ones. When the need arises and no one else is there to step up, Piper will do what she has to.

Roman was, of course, uncaring about her distress or her guilt of fighting and harming others, as was her father, who was tightly wrapped around Roman’s paw. But her mother was not blind to it. She would try and console Piper, but there was no use. As long as they lived in Blutwald, Piper would never be allowed to live as she wanted, not while she continued to train. Many months later, and Piper was only a few weeks away from becoming a juvenile; the time when her training would end. She was becoming anxious and finally beginning to feel like things would get better. Her mother had just given birth to a new litter, sired by Roman, and he had come to inspect them. But as he came to see them, Piper’s mother revealed that there was only one, small puppy. He was very sickly and needed extra care.

Roman had no time to waste on the sick pup and ordered one of the younger trainee’s to get rid of it. Specifically- Piper. She was mortified. Sure, she had bitten, scratched, and hurt her siblings before, but kill one of them? She couldn’t, she wouldn’t. Upon learning this, Piper’s mother devised a plan to get all three of them out. It had to be secret and it had to be fool-proof. She pretended that Boone had been killed and for the next month, Piper and her mother took turns watching the young pup, who had been named Boone, in a mountain cave far from the main Blutwald den, while the other searched for holes in Blutwald and learned the times of the guards’ and scouts’ patrols. Soon enough, they had found what they needed; a silent passage to the outside world, the world away from Blutwald.

At twilight, when most of the pack was asleep, Piper, her mother, and Boone slipped away into the night. Piper’s mother had told her where they were headed: a pack called Kausen. Her father was the alpha, so she was sure they would be welcomed back. They ran for miles, stopping at any shelter they could find. A couple weeks passed, and they were faring well; Boone was no longer sickly, but he was still very young and needed his mother’s milk to survive.

But not too far behind, Roman had sent his guards to track them.

They were caught in the early morning, but Piper’s mother distracted the three guards so Piper and Boone could get away. The last thing Piper saw of her mother was her father wrapping his jaws around her throat. She turned away and ran, carrying Boone in her maw. Piper didn’t stop running until she had entered into Kausen. She didn’t quite know if it was the right pack, but she knew she was in a packs territory nonetheless. She quickly sought out one of the scouts and pleaded to be taken to the alpha. Once they met, Piper explained all that had happened- through sobs and sniffles -and was welcomed with open arms into Kausen. Few months passed and Piper was now a full-fledged juvenile, and her brother, Boone had become quite the spunky pup. Piper made it her duty to watch over and protect him, but something else plagued her mind.

Roman and her father were still out there, probably searching for them- searching to kill them.
